Terms of purchase

1. General

For private individuals, applicable consumer protection legislation applies, such as the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contracts Act.
For businesses, including sole traders, the Swedish Sale of Goods Act or other applicable legislation applies.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please read more in our Privacy Policy.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid under Swedish or EU law, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision reflecting the original intent as closely as possible.

2. Ordering

When you place an order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. A binding agreement is concluded only when Aveva Design AB has confirmed the order.

If you are under 18 years of age, consent from a legal guardian is required.

3. Payment and delivery

Available payment methods are presented at checkout. Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. For private individuals, prices include VAT where applicable. For businesses, prices may be shown excluding VAT.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout before the purchase is completed.
For international deliveries, customs duties, taxes and import fees may apply depending on the destination. These costs are borne by the customer.

Delivery time is stated in connection with the order. Unless otherwise stated, delivery takes place within 30 days.

The customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address.
If a product cannot be delivered, we reserve the right to remove it from the order and refund the corresponding amount.

4. Uncollected shipments

The customer is responsible for collecting the shipment within the specified time period.
Uncollected parcels will be returned to us.

We reserve the right to charge costs for:

• Shipping
• Return shipping
• Administrative costs 

Unpaid fees may be forwarded to a debt collection agency.

5. Changes and cancellation

Changes to orders may be made until the order has been processed. A cancellation is only valid once it has been confirmed by Aveva Design AB.

Business customers cancelling custom-made products may be liable for costs incurred.

Private customers have a right of withdrawal as stated below.

6. Right of withdrawal (private customers)

As a private customer, you have the right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable legislation.

Aveva Design also offers a 30-day return policy. Full information regarding conditions, return procedures and instructions can be found on the Returns and complaints page.

 
7. Complaints

Private customers have the right to file complaints in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.

8. Product information

We reserve the right for possible:

• Printing errors
• Price changes
• Color variations
• Technical errors

• Products being sold out

• Product images may differ slightly from reality depending on screen settings.

As many products are made from natural materials, minor variations may occur.

 
9. Limitation of liability

Aveva Design shall not be liable for indirect damages such as loss of profit, production loss or other consequential damages, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

 
10. Force majeure

Aveva Design is not responsible for delays or errors caused by circumstances beyond our control such as:

• Natural disasters
• War
• Strikes
• Transport disruptions
• Government decisions
• Supplier delays
  
  

11. Disputes

In the event of a dispute with a private customer, Aveva Design follows the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).

Disputes between businesses shall be settled by Swedish general courts.
